Mrs. Brohm

After graduating college with a teaching degree in Elementary Education, I taught for six years in fifth grade, first grade and kindergarten.  I realized then my love of teaching younger aged children.  When my sons were born, I happily became a stay-at-home mom for a few years.  My first step back into teaching was at the preschool my youngest son attended, where I taught for two years as the head teacher for the three year olds class.  Upon leaving that position, I came to St. Peter’s thinking it was just another stepping stone for me before going back into a full time teaching position.  However, the moment I came into the school I realized what a special place St. Peter’s Nursery School is and it was where I wanted to be!  I love and believe in the philosophy that children can learn through hands-on fun experiences.  It proves itself over and over every day in our classrooms.  How rewarding it is to see children play and learn!  During my first years of working at St. Peter’s, I earned a certificate in teaching nursery school and pre-K.  In more recent years, I have had the pleasure of helping to create and teach St. Peter’s Summer Camp program.  I feel very fortunate to be part of such a talented and nurturing staff, to get the most wonderful families and to interact each day with the most amazing children!
